King Kooba is the duo of producer Matt Harris (DJ Shuff) and Charlie Tate (also known as Colossus). They are an electronic duo from the UK & Oakland, CA. Legend says that they were formed over a pint of beer at Charlie's Mom's pub in London, England. Soulstice are super underrated and consistently top-notch, so it makes sense that this remix album follows suit. Some great mixes here from Atjazz, Pepe Bradock and even Soulstice themselves, but Johnny Fiasco's gorgeous rework of "Lovely" is far and away the highlight. Wonderful stuff. 𝕤𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕠𝕔𝕝𝕠𝕔𝕜𝕟𝕖𝕨𝕤
